FILEPOGO / HELP
Help & FAQ
Practical answers about files, verification, privacy and output.
Are the tools free?
Yes. FilePogo currently offers its public tools without subscriptions or payments.
Where are my files processed?
File processing takes place in your browser. File contents, filenames, extracted text and file hashes are not sent to our statistics service. Downloads are saved on your device.
Why is there a human check?
Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the hosted tools from automated abuse. Verification is checked by our server before the workspace is provided. A verification session lasts up to 30 minutes; you may need to verify again after it expires.
Do I have to allow analytics?
No. Choose Essential only to use the tools without optional usage analytics. You can change this choice on the Cookies & privacy choices page. Essential security and aggregate service-health counters still operate.
Which files are supported?
Image tools accept static JPEG, PNG and WebP where the specific tool supports them. Images to PDF accepts JPEG and PNG. PDF tools reject encrypted files. CSV to Excel accepts UTF-8 CSV. Each workspace lists its limits before file selection.
Does changing PPI improve an image?
No. The print checker calculates dimensions and effective resolution. Changing a PPI value does not create additional pixels or restore image detail.
Can the text extractor read scanned PDFs?
It extracts existing selectable text. A page with no selectable text is flagged as possibly scanned and needing OCR; FilePogo does not perform OCR.
Will PDF editing remove all metadata or dangerous content?
No. The metadata editor changes four supported PDF Info fields. Page edits are not sanitization and may affect signatures, forms, bookmarks or annotations. Keep originals and inspect output.
Why might a tool stop or reject a file?
Files may be unsupported, corrupt, encrypted, too large or beyond the processing deadline. Try a smaller supported copy. Cancel and Reset clear the workspace. A browser’s native codec cannot always be interrupted immediately.
How do I report a problem?
Contact support@filepogo.com with the tool name, browser version, safe reproduction steps and expected result. Avoid sending private files or credentials.
